Uninvited, Living Loved When You Feel Less Than, Left Out, and Lonely, by Lysa TerKeurst, is my book club pick for December. I chose this particular book because it is a beautiful, biblical, honest, and witty look at how we process rejection. 

Whether it's being snubbed at a club, given the cold shoulder by a co-worker, abandoned by a parent, left by a spouse... we've all felt the pain of rejection.  

With chapters like "There's a Lady at the Gym Who Hates Me", "Why Does Rejection Hurt So Much?" and "Miracles in the Mess," Lysa walks us through her own deeply personal experiences of rejection, examining the roots of rejection as well as rejection's ability to poison relationships from the inside out, including our relationship with God.
