Experience the story behind WHITE BIRD—a deeply moving portrait of faith, young love, and hope even in the darkest times.
Now that the night is falling earlier, the weekends don’t seem so long.
Get a little more out of your Friday or Saturday night by going to the movies! (Or take in a Sunday matinee!)
Here’s one I’m especially excited about!
WHITE BIRD is a 2024 American coming-of-age period drama film directed by Marc Forster from a screenplay by Mark Bomback, based on the 2019 graphic novel of the same name by R. J. Palacio.
Serving as both a prequel and sequel to Wonder (2017), the film stars Ariella Glaser, Orlando Schwerdt, Bryce Gheisar, Gillian Anderson, and Helen Mirren, with Gheisar reprising his role as Julian from Wonder.
Wonder, which I recommended to you when it came out in 2017, is the movie that sparked the movement to choose kind. White Bird is the inspirational next chapter. It’s got a powerful message we all need to hear, with a universal story of compassion, bravery, humanity, and HOPE.
Key takeaways from this inspirational young love story, a testament to the power of kindness and endurance of a friendship are:
Kindness lives forever.
Love is eternal.
Be brave.
Choose kind.
Don’t miss WHITE BIRD in theaters October 4!
