Not even when I lived in this house did it ever look so festive! The staff will be expecting Santa to fill those furry stockings!

My gorgeous Noble Fir with sturdy boughs, beautiful birdies, ornaments galore and special musical note bows, because... "Queen of Sappy Love Songs!"
I got to choose the decorating theme for the studio, and I went for elements that speak to me; nature. I chose the Woodland Décor collection which is rustic and rich in deep earth tones. I also chose a pre-lit wreath and garland from their Lodge Plaid collection. These combine the beauty of a coniferous forest with woodsy charm. Each is embellished with a charming mix of deep green pine needles, soft brown pinecones, bright berries, a plaid ribbon that reminds me of my dads weekend work shirts, and shatterproof bronze ornaments that catch the light and your eye.
Beautiful berries and plaid bows, remind me of times and places filled with family and love.
I also chose generously from the Snowhaven Collection. It continues my aesthetic of rustic elegance, and homey charm with deep red and soothing brown tones. The whitewashed Snowhaven Glass Ornament Set say, "rustic refinement and 5-star winter resort." Comprised of textured finials, teardrops, and balls, it also features white ornaments with a hand-applied birch finish, that I filled bowls with and placed on either side of the mantel.

But my FAVORITE ornaments were the woodland creatures, owls, birds, and squirrels with bushy tails. They add that little touch of whimsy, that has to be present on any tree I decorate! Christmas is all about magic, and Balsam Hill™ creates magical moment after magical moment!
This little owl snow globe has been making the rounds on staff desks - they keep stealing it from each other!
But oh my gosh! Let me tell you what ELSE they sent us. This is a surprise for Delilah Jr. so no spoilers! Also in the mix of boxes and boxes and boxes, was an adorable 4.5' Vermont White Spruce tree, just as lifelike as the towering 9 foot Noble that graces the studio.
This little pre-lit gem was accompanied by a classically delightful ornament collection in red and green holiday colors and patterns. Some solid, some with hand-painted details, all with a vintage appeal and nod to Christmas past. What a great idea for parents and grandparents; to give a child a tree of their own and adding a special ornament to it each year!
Making the tree extra-special are the Michael Storrings Letter's to Santa Ornament Set designed exclusively for Balsam Hill™, consisting of a bright red post box, a festive letter envelope, and jolly old St. Nick! The North Pole set showcases cheerful sights from Santa's workshop, including hard-working elves, and overflowing sleigh, and other sights from the wintery far north. These mouth-blown iconic holiday figures are fun, festive and makes you remember just how you felt on Christmas morning when you were 5 or 7 or 10...
