Based on the unwavering true story, high school football coach Joe Kennedy had no other choice but to fight.

A childhood in foster care followed by 20 years in the Marine Corps was nothing compared to his biggest battle: his commitment to stand for God publicly by taking a knee in prayer after each game.

When he was fired, Joe and his wife Denise knew this battle for religious freedom, freedom of speech, and the rights of all Americans was one they would have to fight—no matter the cost.

From the director and producers of God’s Not Dead and the producers of The Blind comes AVERAGE JOE, in theaters beginning October 11.

It’s my absolute pleasure to recommend movie selections I know you’ll come away from feeling empowered and inspired. Average Joe is that type of movie!

Grab some family, grab some friends, grab some popcorn, and this October, take in Average Joe!

New Movie | AMERICAN UNDERDOG

Kurt and Brenda Warner’s incredible true story of faith, family, and football has been made for the big screen.

Life made them underdogs. Faith made them champions. From Kingdom Story Company and The Erwin Brothers — the directors of I CAN ONLY IMAGINE — comes AMERICAN UNDERDOG, based on the inspirational true story of Kurt and Brenda Warner.

Undrafted as a quarterback out of college, Kurt found himself stocking shelves in a grocery store to help support Brenda and her two kids, all while trying to hold onto his fading dream of becoming an NFL quarterback. That dream was realized when he was signed by the St. Lousi Rams in 1998.

In the following years, he would become a two-time NFL MVP, a Super Bowl champion, and Hall of Fame quarterback. American Underdog, allows you to experience all the highs, lows, victories and defeats Kurt and Brenda shared. It hits theaters on December 25th.

The film sports an MVP cast, starring Zackary Levi, as Kurt, Anna Paquin, as Brenda, Dennis Quaid, as Dick Vermeil, Chance Kelly, as Mike Martz, and Hayden Zaller, as Zack Warner.

I’s a story synonymous with hope, and the knowledge that with hard work, perseverance, faith - and family - our dreams are never out of reach.

Opening in theaters on Christmas Day, it's a football movie, it's a romance movie, it's a movie sure to inspire the dreamer in all of us! Take the family, get a big bucket of popcorn, and get in the game!
